Q.  Who can become a Nutritious Harmony Health Coach?  What are the qualifications?

A. A Nutritious Harmony Health Coach is a professional who serves as holistic healthcare practitioner. Qualification requirements are held within industry standards for the health care provider.

Many of our coaches maintain counseling skills enabling us to recognize challenging areas that could then require referral to different levels of care and/or in combination with other health modalities to support achieving lasting healing.

Nutritious Harmony requires our health coaches to be insured and to complete a minimum of 80 hours (2 weeks) of continuing education and training each year.

Q.  What is the role of the Health Coach?

A.  Our Coaches are trained to present possible truths and benefits, as appropriate for the audience.  Our corporate position is, as with any situation, when a current paradigm does not appear to be working, it is worthwhile to investigate alternatives.  We challenge our own thinking and have altered our perspectives many times.  We will no doubt continue to do so as the sciences evolve and progress.

The role of the Nutritious Harmony Health Coach discourages any political or scientific debate on information being presented during individual counseling sessions, or during seminars or workshops.  Any expressed position is the opinion of an individual coach and does reflect the view of Nutritious Harmony’s founder or the entire organization.

Q. What is Personal Balance Wellness (PBW)?

A. Personal Balance Wellness (PBW) is the brand of personal services programs offered by Nutritious Harmony LLC.  The programs are geared towards individuals, families and small groups of four (4) to eight (8) people.  PBW services are designed around counseling programs which help you explore healing choices and life~style improvements affecting your quality of life.   A Health Coach supports you through this process of self-discovery and transformation.

Q.  How is a Personal Balance Wellness Program different from other wellness programs?

A. With other wellness services, you are given a menu of options and you must decide which one will work. Often your choice is based on something that has worked well for someone you know.  An understandable decision, however we are all bio-individuals and the treatment may prove to be a momentary relief instead of being at the root of your concern.  Your coach helps to guide you take the guess work out of deciding which healing modalities are right for you.

Another way PBW differs from other wellness services is that our programs do not advocate any one particular wellness modality or product over another.

Q. Who will benefit best from a PBW program?

A. People who are willing to try something new and different to achieve a healthier life~style; people who are excited about the prospect of making true and lasting change in their life; and people who are motivated and ready to take responsibility for having their best life possible, will benefit most from a PBW program.

Q. Who will most likely not benefit from a PBW program?

A. If you are looking for a diet “quick fix” or an easy weight loss scheme a PBW program may not be for you.  Although lasting change could take more than an initial 3 or 6 month program, it is what you do during those months that will make a difference in how you succeed with the changes you desire.  People who procrastinate, miss sessions, or are late for sessions, and/or do not follow through with suggestions and decisions are not likely to benefit.  Your commitment and investment in yourself is the necessary ingredient in a PBW program.
